Information we collect
RaceIQ collects the information needed to run the app and support racer workflows. The exact data depends on how you use RaceIQ.
- Account and profile details you provide
- Vehicle details, saved passes, setup notes, reaction history, and calculator entries
- Photos or timeslips you choose to upload
- Location information only when you allow it for weather and nearby-track features
- Support messages you send through the website
How we use your information
We use your information to provide RaceIQ, save your logbook, support race-day tools, and help you manage your account.
- Save and display logbook entries, run comparisons, reaction sessions, and profile details
- Add weather context to passes and race-day planning
- Help you review timeslips and Dragy reports before saving
- Operate team, leaderboard, and public-facing features you choose to use
- Respond to support and privacy requests
Sharing and visibility
Your logbook is private by default. You choose what to share through teams, leaderboards, or public-facing features.
- Team features may show shared cars, shared runs, and teammate information to members of that team
- Leaderboard features may show the information needed to display standings and results
- Public-facing features may show only the items you choose to publish or submit
Your choices
You control the optional permissions and information you add to RaceIQ.
- You may choose whether to grant location, camera, and photo-library permissions
- You can use many features without uploading photos or timeslips
- Privacy requests can be sent through the support form on our Support page
Retention, security, and your choices
We retain information for as long as needed to operate RaceIQ, maintain your account, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements.
